Important Legal Information
Age Requirements
You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase a handgun. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a long gun (rifle or shotgun). Age verification is completed at your FFL dealer.
FFL Transfer
All firearms must be transferred through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). BuildASwitch ships directly to your chosen FFL dealer. You must complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a NICS background check at your FFL dealer before taking possession.
State Laws
Firearms laws vary significantly by state. BuildASwitch reviews every order for compliance with the destination state's laws. We reserve the right to refuse any order that we believe may violate applicable law.
NFA Items
Suppressors, short-barreled rifles (SBR), short-barreled shotguns (SBS), and other NFA items require ATF Form 4 approval and a $200 tax stamp. BuildASwitch does not currently offer NFA items.
